Yassine Bounou will not be part of his team, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia,’s trip to the Emirates to face Al Ain on the third day of the Asian Champions League, scheduled for Monday, October 21.

According to the Saudi newspaper Arriyadiyah, Bounou will miss this match due to a strained hamstring he suffered during the Moroccan national team’s match against the Central African Republic last week, as part of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations.

The newspaper also specifies that Bounou will be replaced by goalkeeper Mohammed Al Owais, who has recovered from an injury that kept him away from the field for a long period.

In the same context, the Saudi newspaper indicates that the match against Al Ain will see the return of Brazilian star Neymar, after recovering from a ruptured cruciate knee ligament suffered a year ago.

It should be remembered that Bounou had already missed the match on the fourth day of CAN qualifying last Tuesday against the Central African Republic, won by the Atlas Lions with a score of 4-0.
