This morning, the CH was on the ice in Brossard for club training from 9 a.m. For what? Because soon, the club will head to Tremblant for the club’s closed retreat.

We quickly noticed that Kaiden Guhle was again on the ice with his teammates, but this time he had a sweater that allowed him to receive physical contact.

So this is a step in the right direction.

We also note that Josh Anderson, who had undergone a day of treatment earlier this week, was back in training. So that’s one less thing to keep in mind.

However, this morning, two other veterans were given time off: Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher. We are talking about a day of treatment in both cases.

Obviously, to have more information on the trios that will be used on Saturday, you will have to wait until… Saturday. We will see if Martin St-Louis will send a relatively complete lineup for the last preparatory match.

It will be interesting to see if Guhle will be able to play. Earlier this week, Martin St-Louis said he would like to see him play Saturday, but not at all costs: just if he can play. This will be seen in due time.

In the meantime, the Canadian is placing his attention on his closed retreat. Will this have the effect of calming the guys down for the next matches, after emotional matches?

This will be continued.
