Germany, France and Switzerland are calling on their nationals to leave Iran.
This announcement follows the possible Israeli response after Iran’s massive attack on the Jewish state on Tuesday.
The three countries also recommend that their citizens not travel to Iran.

The shock left by Iran’s large-scale attack on Israel on Tuesday, and the likelihood of an Israeli response, has Western nations cautious. This Wednesday, France, Germany and Switzerland called on their nationals there to leave Iranian territory.
“It is recommended that French people residing in Iran who have the possibility, and as soon as international air traffic resumes, temporarily leave the country”wrote French diplomacy on the website of its embassy in Tehran. “It is recalled that it remains recommended that non-resident French people absolutely abstain from coming to Iran; for those who are there despite everything, it is recommended to limit their travel, avoid any gatherings and leave Iranian territory as soon as the airspace is open”adds the French representation in Iran.
Travel to Iran strongly discouraged
“German nationals asked to leave Iran“, indicated the German Foreign Ministry in an update of its instructions. Berlin also calls for renouncing trips to this country.
Same message in Switzerland from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. “The FDFA recommends that people of Swiss nationality leave the country on their own, if this seems possible and safe“, calls on Swiss diplomacy while also recalling that “travel to Iran is not recommended“.
