Tiago Santos returns to Lille earlier than expected. Called up for the Portugal hopefuls team, the young full-back injured his ankle this Friday during the 9th day of the Euro qualifiers against the Faroe Islands (1-3 victory). In a press release published on its websitethe Portuguese Federation indicates that the latter was deemed unfit to take part in the match against Andorra this Tuesday and therefore did not travel with the rest of the group. The severity of the Lisbon native’s injury is not specified. He will undoubtedly have to undergo further examinations with the Lille staff medical team.
