On the red carpet, in front of the northern cinema, the most prominent French actors of the moment are gathered. François Civil, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Malik Frikah, Elodie Bouchez, Benoît Poelvoorde, Vincent Lacoste, Jean-Pascal Zadi, Alain Chabat, Raphaël Quenard… And above all, the Valencian actress Mallory Wanecque!
“It’s an immense pride to film in the North“, says the young actress. “I had already filmed here in my first film, “Les Pires”, so I already had my bearings. Highlighting the beautiful factory in the North, the different social circles… that makes me so happy.“The young woman is delighted with this preview in the company of her loved ones.”Today, my whole family is in the room and it’s a source of immense pride.“
For Gilles Lellouche either, this filming in the North was not a first. “It’s a region that I love, having filmed there quite a few times. And I found that these were the most beautiful possible settings for my film“, specifies the director. “…And with the nicest people!“, he adds about the inhabitants of the North.
I find it a terribly cinematic region! Visually, we see it when we see the film: it is sublime. And it’s also because the region is.
A point on which other stars of the film join him. “What a welcome! Spending five months here… When you come from the south, you say to yourself ‘it’s going to miss a little sun’. But no, in the end, people bring back the sun on their own“, notes Malik Frikah. Same story for François Civil: “The people were super warm, super simple. And at the same time, never familiar. Very nice, but with the right distance… It’s great!“
The actor was also seduced by our landscapes: “I find it a terribly cinematic region! Visually, we see it when we see the film: it is sublime. And it’s also because the region is.“To see “L’amour ouf”, come to your theaters from Wednesday October 16, 2024.
