A woman fell overboard and died while cruising near the Channel Islands, west of Alderney. This was reported by several British media on Saturday. It would be a woman in her twenties.
The alarm was raised by the crew of the MSC Virtuosa cruise ship around 3 a.m. on Saturday. French rescue services pulled the woman out of the water by helicopter. He was later pronounced dead. British and French police have opened an investigation.
