British naturalized French, Jane Birkin was found lifeless at her Parisian home this Sunday, according to Le Parisien.
After making her film debut in Great Britain in the 1960s, Jane Birkin settled in France where she notably formed a couple of artistic and popular fame in the 1970s with Serge Gainsbourg.

Jane Birkin was the mother of actresses Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, daughter of Serge Gainsbourg and director Jacques Doillon and photographer Kate Barry, who died in 2013, whom she had in 1967 following her marriage to multi-award-winning composer John Barry .
