The stock market session of Friday January 3, 2025 was marked by a slight drop in the main indices, with the BRVM Composite falling 0.08% to 275.91 points, the BRVM 30 losing 0.10% to 138.57 points and the BRVM Prestige falling 0.23% to 114.30 points.
The total volume exchanged stood at 101,094 securities for a total value of 279,073,417 FCFA. Among the best performers, SICOR CI (+6.88%) and TRACTAFRIC MOTORS CI (+4.55%) posted solid progress, while SOLIBRA CI (-6.97%) and VIVO ENERGY CI (-6. 11%) recorded the largest declines.
ECOBANK CI stood out for the highest transaction volume with 22,736,540 FCFA, while NEI-CEDA CI recorded the lowest transaction with only 8,985 FCFA.
