John Cena’s speech during the first RAW on Netflix still leaves some doubts as to the reasons for this farewell tour. After this first episode on the platform, American journalists asked many questions on the subject during the press conference. “The Champ” made it clear.
He declares:
“I’m going to be 48 years old. If you look at the stats, the math isn’t really in my favor. I don’t know, maybe I’m late.
Is this whole farewell tour true? Yes, 100%. After December, after my last match, I will be done. You will see me in an ambassadorial role in WWE, but more as a wrestler. I will wear a suit. You will see the other sides of John Cena. Honestly, we have so many great current and young Superstars that are on the rise. The company has been great to me, and it’s time to move on. »
