The Renaissance of Berkane ensured its qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup (CAF), by beating this Sunday, on the lawn of the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako, the Malian stadium (1-0)

The goal of the match was scored by Imad Riahi (64′).

On behalf of the same group, the South Africans from Stellenbosch won earlier in the day against CD Lunda Sul from Angola by 2-0.

At the end of this day, the RSB consolidates its leadership position with 12 points, ahead of the South African club Stellenbosch (6 pts). Stade Malien is third with 4 points, while Lunda Sul from Angola brings up the rear with a single point.

On the next day, scheduled for next Sunday, RS Berkane, finalist of the last edition of this competition, will travel to Luanda to face the Angolans of CD Lunda Sul.
