10) Confess, Fletch – the sequel
Initially, Fletch is a cult comedy with Chevy Chase released in 1985. A sequel, Fletch Liveswas released in 1989. In 2021, a reboot with John Hamm released under the direction of Greg Mottola. Basically, a fourth film was to see the light of day, but changes in direction at Miramax following the brothers' arrest Weinstein led to numerous cancellations. The continuation of Confess, Fletch is one of them.
9) Coyote vs Acme
Based on the character of Coyote of the Looney Tunesthe feature film Coyote vs Acme was canceled by Warner Bros. Initially, the film was even supposed to be released in the summer of 2023. But Coyote vs Acme then disappeared from the Warner Bros release schedule before being officially canceled in early 2024. 8) The Mothership
Directed by Matt Charman with Halle Berry in the lead role, this science fiction film was initially scheduled to be released on Netflix. The story was to feature Halle Berry in the role of a mother who finds a strange object in his country house. An object that belonged to her late husband. From this starting point, she and her children would have been confronted with a much bigger scheme. In January 2024, Netflix confirms that the filming of The Mothership is finished. But the platform announces that the project has largely exceeded its initial budget.. In addition, the film obviously required reshoots. Faced with these production problems, Netflix preferred to cancel the project.
7) Planet of the Dead
In 2021, Zack Snyder met a scene Army of the Dead for Netflix. The zombie film is a huge hit on the platform, with over 75 million views during his first month of operation. 6) Ant-Man 4
Following the commercial and critical failure of Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaMarvel Studios seems to have abandoned the idea of making Ant-Man 4. Initially, the project was actually on the cards. But since everyone seems to give a damn about Ant-Man's fate, the project seems to have been shelved.
5) Splinter Cell
Yes, an adaptation of Splinter Cell was in the boxes. Since 2002, Ubisoft expands the range of games Splinter Celladapted from the famous thrillers of Tom Clancy.
