Hajj 1445: return of the first group of Moroccan pilgrims to Oujda

Parents, friends and relatives gathered in large numbers yesterday, Friday June 21, at Oujda-Angad airport, to offer a warm and solemn welcome to the first group of 310 pilgrims returning from the holy places of Islam.

The families, impatient to see their loved ones again, alternated radiant smiles and tears of joy. The Hajj, for their part, had in their eyes the sparkle of a unique spiritual experience. “It was an experience I will never forget. Along with all the other faithful from all over the world, we prayed and cried together in Saudi Arabia. Shared faith united us in unexpected ways», confides this octogenarian, his voice still tight with the emotion of the trip.

Next to him, a young man, with moist eyes, confides: “It is a blessing to be able to perform this ritual. Everything went perfectly, thank God.» Same emotion in the words shared by this guercified woman: “Seeing my family waiting for me with smiles and tears was the most emotional moment of my return. After such an intense journey, finding the embrace of my loved ones immediately filled my heart with indescribable joy.».

The scene was enveloped in a singular aura, where each reunion seemed sanctified by the prayers and blessings exchanged. Children ran to their parents, arms full of gifts, while other pilgrims shared stories of their journey with their loved ones. A true moment of communion, sharing and celebration.
