Game news Marvel Rivals: Overwatch competitor is soon playable, but you need to register

Are you tired of Overwatch and are you eagerly awaiting Marvel Rivals? That’s good, the “hero shooter” developed by NetEase Games will soon be playable… You just have to register.
The fashion is definitely for hero shooters: while PlayStation is preparing to release Concord on this side, another candidate – super inspired by a certain Overwatch – is also preparing its arrival… It is Marvel Rivals, the 6v6 TPS developed by NetEase Games. All is said, It is a 3rd person multiplayer game where you play as various characters from the famous universe (Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Hulk, Iron Man). After a first wave of testing last May, where Marvel Rivals found itself under fire for a questionable contract line, it is time for the closed beta. A few lucky people will be able to discover the hero shooter from July 23.
Closed beta dates
The beta in question, available on PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, will therefore be open from from July 23 at midnight French time until August 5 at 9 a.m. (always French time). If you are on console, you will need to fill in this questionnaire and wait to be drawn by email… And if you are on a computer, you will have to go to the Marvel Rivals page on the Valve store from July 20th at midnight (still French time) | click on “Request access” under the “Join Marvel Rivals Playtest” section.
Quite a bit of content on the program
The lucky little ones who get access will be able to test 21 Marvel characters (this is apparently the full launch roster), including Adam Warlock, Black Panther, Groot, Hela, Loki, Star-Lord, etc. You can find the full list at this address. For the rest, 4 maps as well as 3 game modes (Convoy, Domination and Convergence) will be available. To date, Marvel Rivals does not have a release date, but should arrive in final version next year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S.
