“That she wore this item of clothing for the occasion doesn’t really surprise me. She dares to wear something new more often. In general, Queen Mathilde chooses clothes she has already worn rather than new outfits,” explains the expert.
However, what surprises is obviously the price. Spending such a sum is not in his habit.
Jelka Van Duyse continues: “She’s not a big spender compared to the other queens. For example, she doesn’t spend a lot of money on jewelry, yachts, or many second homes. That’s why I would turn a blind eye to such a significant expense.”
