It was possible to write a note, make a drawing, place flowers at the pergola.

The ceremony was supposed to officially begin at 10:30 a.m. but was delayed. Speeches were made near the two coffins.

The group Nux Vomica performed some pieces from its repertoire of songs in Nice.

Ben and Annie were very attached to the struggles of the regions of France to keep their languages and traditions. Basques, Bretons, Occitans, Niçois, they were part of each of these battles when it came to promoting local culture. No wonder that on Thursday, during their funerals and tributes, they were covered with the Occitan flag…

Ben took us to painting exhibitions and music evenings. He introduced us to people from elsewhere, in Occitania, to be visible and exist stronger. To get us out of the ghetto where we put creators who use culture in a decentralized way. And that, for Ben, for us, made all the difference.
