Rohff is proud of the figures achieved with “Fitna”.

He was doing his big comeback on June 21st. While he considers itself the victim of a boycott by streaming platforms but also by CD stores, Rohff has just celebrated the figures of his latest album “Fitna”which he considers to be his best project to date. It is in story Instagram thatHousni took the floor to thank his fans:
“8k in the first week despite the boycott in store before your eyes, without promo or radio or TV or interview or purchase of stream or purchase of CDs in pop up store. I refused everything, only insta story and 3 tweets. Thank you, I am proud of you.”
A message in which he notably mentions the imminent end of his career.
“You have the album of the year and perhaps my best single album to close my discography. Now I have time to clip all these big bangers as well as my classics and give you great concerts before withdrawing from this environment which no longer corresponds to my values. My talent is disturbing, I accomplished what I needed to accomplish, the rest no longer matters. I wanted to enhance my art with all the love I have had for it for 30 years. My numbers have never lied to you.”
And for good reason, Rohff considers himself the victim of a boycott by the industry. Recently, the French rapper attacked Spotify. According to him, the streaming platform is boycotting “Fitna”. “So Spotify, are we forgetting Rohff again? Look at the trends, whose album are we talking about? You do not like me ? For what ? Do authenticity and values hurt so much? My positions? Boycott? Ok, too bad for you”he shares on X, formerly Twitter.
Rohff thus points out a deliberate lack of visibility unlike other artists, which recalls the controversy that occurred in 2021. When “Grand Monsieur” was released, the rapper had already criticized Spotify’s choices. “We’re in TT for days, the album ‘Grand Monsieur’ makes France talk but Spotify France makes you blind and deaf of earshe said. Is this an oversight or a bias? Unveiled without any promotion, Rohff had previously justified his choice. While responding to fans, he declares “not to be in need of recognition” and therefore not “need more light”. So interviews no longer interest him. He concludes : “I’ve had enough.”
