During a recent interview with Metal Global’s Jorge Botas, Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth revealed that the band’s long-awaited new single will be released on October 22, 2024. Accompanied by a music video, the track will be the first in a series of singles ahead of the release of their next album scheduled for late March or early April 2025.
A single that promises to ignite fans
Dani Filth was very enthusiastic about the reception of this new track: “I think the fans will love it. This is part of the evolution of Cradle of Filth. It’s difficult to describe this music, but it’s an evolutionary step for the band. There are elements that hark back to the early days of Cradle, while still bringing something very modern.”
The singer also clarified that this new single is a reflection of the group’s constant work to push its limits and offer innovative sounds while remaining faithful to its roots.

An album in preparation for 2025
The upcoming single is part of the preparation of Cradle of Filth’s new album, which will follow Existence Is Futile released in 2021. Dani revealed that several more singles will be revealed before the album’s full release. He also spoke about the production of this record, calling it “fucking amazing” and specifying that even the catchiest songs remain heavy and powerful, faithful to the essence of the group.
Collaborations and a return to basics
Last year, Dani Filth had already made surprising revelations about the upcoming album, including a collaboration with superstar Ed Sheeran, which should appear on a special edition of the new opus. Furthermore, Filth confirmed that the new album will maintain an atmosphere close to Dusk… And Her Embracewhile marking a step forward in the group’s musical evolution.
With the release of his first live album in over 20 years, Trouble And Their Double Livesin 2023, and now a new album in preparation, Cradle of Filth seems determined to maintain its status as a pillar of symphonic Black Metal.
