Jack Revill, whose stage name is Jackmaster, died this morning in Ibiza following a head injury. It was the family of the Scottish DJ who announced this sad news today on their Instagram account. Boss of the Numbers label, he was a true figure of the House scene and toured clubs and festivals around the world. In the early to mid-2010s, he was regularly named among the best DJs on the planet and was also among the most in demand across the globe.
His disappearance generated numerous reactions on the electronic scene, attesting to the extent to which his talent was recognized. From CamelPhat, to Joseph Capriati, via Peggy Gou, Kölsch, Bicep, Black Coffee, Adam Beyer…. many artists mourn his passing. For our part, we particularly remember with nostalgia the “JESuS” quartet that he was able to form with Eats Everything, Seth Troxler and Skream, one of our best memories at Ultra Miami with this set in 2018 on the Arcadia stage.
All our thoughts are with his family, whose full statement you can read in the post below.
