Suspected of hotel pimpingand elected of the Community of communes of Brie Nangissienne will be judged by the Paris Criminal Court. The trial of this deputy of a city hall will be held on November 19 this year. He is accused of having rented one of his real estateand appartement from the 15th arrondissement of Paris, to a tenant committing criminal acts.
A preliminary investigation had been opened in March 2024, following reports of possible prostitution activity in the apartment. The investigations, reports a source close to the file, revealed 29 real estate properties in the possession of the owner, in his personal name or under his various real estate companies (SCI), as well as eight vehicles.
Another defendant also faces 10 years in prison
The rent of the apartment would have brought in a little more than 2 000 eurosin cash, each month. The Seine-et-Marne elected official, presumed innocent, will have to explain himself at the bar for “making private premises available to a person engaged in prostitution”, over a period from January 2022 to 3 June 2024. With this offense, he risk 10 years imprisonment and 750 000 euros fine.
L’other defendant of this case, a man presented by the prosecution as in charge of “security and surveillance”, is suspected of “aggravated pimping by the plurality of victims”, an offense causing him to incur 10 years of imprisonment and a heavier fine, 1.5 million euros, over a period from 1is August 2023 to June 3, 2024.
