Double blow for Allauch. The Provencal town, designated by ’s leading channel as the exclusive filming location for Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful last year, will offer group visits during the summer in order to (re)discover the cult series and highlight local heritage. From the medical office to the police station via behind the scenes of the filming, visitors will be guided through the alleys of the village to reach the unmissable “Mistral bar” square. If the frequency of visits is not specified, they will take place in July and August, from Wednesday to Sunday, and will last up to an hour and a quarter for a dozen euros at full price.

Offer real added value to fans of the series

During the first filming dates, we had fans from all over France and Belgium. We wanted to respond to their strong attachment to the series by providing real added value. These visits give access to emblematic settings and also allow us to promote the heritage of the town, its economic fabric, as well as Provençal culture. One of the most beautiful places included in the visits is the esplanade des moulins: a magnificent square from which you can see the coves of Cassis as far as Rove, on the Blue Coast“, praises the mayor of Allauch, Lionel de Cala (LR).

The tours will include a video to show how filming days are organized and a setting to have your photo taken on the town hall square. “Depending on the frequency of the visits that will be made, it is not excluded that it will fall on a filming day“, foresees the town hall’s communications manager, Magali Daoust, who warns, however, that it is useless to choose a slot based on the filming dates, since these are only known at the last moment by municipal services. .

The town hall, which wishes to find a tourist guide to lead tours in the village, offers “a dream student job“to anyone who likes to share their passion for the series and knows how to host groups. The contract provides for 35 hours per week and remuneration of 1,500 euros net per month.

Applications should be sent to Allauch town hall, either by post (Human Resources Department, place Pierre-Bellot – 13190 Allauch) or by email to the address specified below. A CV as well as a cover letter are requested from interested parties before May 15, 2024. The mayor of Allauch, who specifies that it is a “student job“, wants to reassure: “This may be a first professional experience. The prerequisite is to have the interpersonal skills to take visitors into the world of the series.

Applications by email to be sent to [email protected] Such. 04 91 10 48 43.
