Indeed, since the first edition of the Cinema Festival in 1985, during these few days, cinema tickets are all on sale at a single price: 5 euros. The Count of Monte Cristo : Pierre Niney as an avenging hero
With Pierre Niney in the lead role, The Count of Monte Cristo is a new adaptation of the novel by Alexandre Dumas. Under the direction of Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, Pierre Niney plays Edmond Dantès, a young man wrongly imprisoned for conspiracy. After his escape, he returns to take revenge on those who betrayed him, using the secret identity of the Count of Monte Cristo.

Maria : the tragic life of Maria Schneider
Maria traces the broken life of actress Maria Schneider, played by Anamaria Vartolomei. Then aged 19, the actress was approached in 1969 by filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci. The latter prepared the film Last Tango in Paris and offered her the role of Jeanne, alongside American star Marlon Brando. The young actress is raped on camera, a terrifying scene kept in the final cut. Which will leave deep scars for the actress.

The Bikeriders : walk with a motorcycle club
The Bikeriders, invites the viewer into the Vandals, a motorcycle club led by Tom Hardy alias Johnny, and Austin Butler alias Benny. The film follows Kathy (Jodie Comer), an intrepid young woman who falls under Benny’s spell. As the group grows and transforms into a gang despite the leaders’ efforts to stem the violence, Benny must choose between his love for Kathy and his loyalty to the group.
