This Sunday, December 22, the three local clubs, FC Pays Aurossais, Targon Soulignac FC and Sud-Gironde FC are playing at home.
FC Pays Aurossais – Oloron Béarn FC
Enticing displays that this confrontation between FC Pays Aurossais (FCPA), fourth with five points, and the leader Oloron Béarn FC which, until today, has managed to preserve its invincibility. The protégés of President Jérôme Laurent remain on a snag (0-1) at home, against Chambéry, which deprives them of a more favorable position in the ranking. If they want to remain competitive for first place and perfectly concerned by the battle for accession to R2 – during the return phase – they will absolutely have to put in a strong performance against their next visitors from Béarn. Will they be able to do it?
Sunday December 22 at 3 p.m. at the Pondaurat stadium.
Targon Soulignac FC – Rive Droite 33 FC
With two matches behind on their schedule, including one against group leader Lège-Cap-Ferret B, Targon Soulignac FC (TSFC) remains very concerned in the fight for first place. After qualifying for 6e round of the Regional Cup, gleaned on Sunday December 15 against a tough opponent from Corrézien, Pascal Simao’s players will have to be very serious if they want to collect three additional points against their visitors from Rive Droite FC who will inevitably be eager to get their act together following their setback, conceded at home, against the understudies of La Brède FC.
Sunday December 22 at 3 p.m. at the Targon stadium.
Sud-Gironde FC – RC Chambéry
With a victory and a share of points in nine days, FC Sud-Gironde is objectively not on a course likely to guarantee its survival at the end of the financial year. However, despite a precarious position in the ranking, the protégés of President Jean-Marc Rassis can still hope to keep their place at the regional level because, with them, four other teams share the same and crying need for points. Mathematically, the situation is not yet alarming but, undeniably, a success against RC Chambéry – which remains on two consecutive successes – would be welcome and would offer the South Girondins a very precious breath of fresh air.
Sunday December 22 at 3 p.m. at the Beaulac stadium in Bernos-Beaulac.
