A young woman, who went to walk her dog, had disappeared since Saturday January 4, 2025 in Beaupréau-en-Mauges. His lifeless body was found this Sunday, January 5.
Found dead in a body of water
The Maine-et-Loire gendarmes issued a wanted notice this Saturday morning. A 24-year-old young woman who went to walk her dog “did not return home”.
70 soldiers were mobilized to search for her. According to information revealed by France 3 Pays de la Loire, repeating the words of the public prosecutor, the gendarmes found his lifeless body in a “collective basin” at a place called La Roche Baraton, in Beaupréau, 300 m from the family home.
The preferred accidental track
Justice favors an accidental track. The prosecutor raises the hypothesis that she could have wanted to save her dog which had fallen into the body of water.
