Two physiotherapists exercise in the medical homeMarket Square, Pass-the-Conceptioncommune of Passais-Villages (Orne). Since January 1, 2024, their schedule has evolved.
Previously, we exercised respectively 3 days and two days on the Passais bocage. Now we are both full-time, five days each, a week.
“We feel adopted by the residents”
Trained at a Romanian university, Mirela Strugariu and Cosmin Marteniuc have worked in France since 2018. They arrived in the town in August 2023 and had no difficulty integrating.
We feel adopted by the residents of the town and we form a team with other health professionals. It is important for us that there is this cohesion and this understanding between colleagues.
The two physiotherapists offer musculoskeletal, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation from Monday to Friday, by appointment.
A doctor still in demand
For their part, the mayor of Passais-Villages and his municipal team are continuing their fight against medical desertification.
The municipality has been searching for health professionals since 2020. It supported the installation of two physiotherapists in the area. We are satisfied with their presence. We remain motivated to attract a general practitioner with the aim of completing the medical team and meeting the expectations of the population.
With this new year 2025, all hopes are allowed.
