This is obviously the film Gladiator which traces the story of the fall of the Roman general Maximus Decimus (played by Russell Crowe) betrayed by the corrupt son of Marcus Aurelius: Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). The success of this Blockbuster is notably due to its original soundtrack, composed by Hans Zimmercomposer of musicInception, Rain Man or Interstellar. Released on June 20, 2000 in France, it will be in cinema-concert in Lille (North) in 2025.

Lisa Gerrard accompanied by 200 musicians

Saturday March 15, 2025, Gladiator will be screened at the Zénith de Lille. On site, singer Lisa Gerrard will be accompanied by 200 musicians. If her name doesn’t mean anything to you, you’ve probably heard her in the film. She performs the famous song “Now We Are Free” which earned her a Golden Globe in 2001. This performance should not be missed since there are only four in all of France:

• Friday March 14, 2025 at the Zénith in Paris;
• Saturday March 15, 2025 at the Zénith de Lille;
• Friday March 21, 2025 at the Zénith in Strasbourg;
• Sunday March 23, 2025 at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon.

In terms of prices, the first prices are available at 39 euros on the Zénith de Lille website. However, you will need to book your entire evening because the performance lasts 3 hours with an intermission in the middle.
