After the ice and snow at the end of last week, it is the wind which threatens Essonne today. The department is placed on orange vigilance until this afternoon, just like the whole of Île-de-France and around twenty departments in total throughout the country, in a diagonal going mainly from Vendée to Meuse and the Ardennes. Gusts could reach and even exceed 100 km/h. Consequence: disruptions have already been announced in public transport with train cancellations, notably on the RER C in Essonne but also on the TER and TGV trains.
