Love lasts twenty years, and more if you like, on M6. Six weeks after the broadcast of the review of season 19, “L’amour est dans le pré” returns to the air from Monday January 13, 2025, with Karine Le Marchand still at the helm. This year, fifteen single farmers – twelve men and three women – called on the romantic program teams to find their soul mate. A first part of their portraits will be revealed during this first issue, but Puremédias invites you to discover, in preview, those whose adventures on the farm will animate the Monday evenings of the show's faithful in a few months.
Anthony, 36 years old, poultry breeder (Occitanie)
This sensitive and reserved man will nevertheless set off on familiar ground since his brother, Thierry, has already tried the experiment during season 13. If the cow breeder has not succumbed to the charm of his two suitors, his younger brother hopes meet the woman with whom he will build his family. Single for seven years, he counts on the show to “not end up alone like an idiot deep in the countryside“. The disappearance of his mother made him a sensitive man who hides a deadpan and teasing humor.
Antoine, 45 years old, mixed farming (Grand Est)
Blood ties are sacred to this simple and warm man. Not content with working with his cousin on a mixed crop farm, Antoine has remained very close to his father, with whom he watches over his brother Arnaud, who has a disability. A journey which has always put a damper on his sentimental ambitions with only one relationship to his credit. Today, this nice joker hopes to meet a woman “hardworking, simple and sincere” with whom he can start his family.
Célia, 30 years old, horse breeder (Occitanie)
This thirty-year-old is not what you would call a child of the ball. Having fallen in love with horses at the age of 5, Célia wanted to make a living from her passion by purchasing a piece of land to take care of around twenty equines. Her three romances did not lead to anything serious and this refractory to dating applications turned to “Love is in the meadow” to find the daring man who will know how to gallop at her pace.
Denis, 59 years old, mixed farming (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes)
The bon vivant of this edition. An essential figure in his village, Denis likes to share time with his loved ones around large tables. But he does not forget his animals to whom he devotes all his time. A busy schedule in which only one woman found a small place thirty years ago. This animal lover therefore wishes to break his loneliness with a kind woman of character, who will accept him as he is.
Géraldine, 49 years old, alpaca breeder and horse boarder (Pays-de-la-Loire)
This former accountant has the same character traits as her alpacas: sensitive, curious and gentle at the same time. And like the Andean camelid, to whom she devotes her life, Géraldine wishes to escape solitude by sharing simple activities with a reassuring man who will love his animals and accept his children. Because his two teenagers aged 15 and 14, born from a first relationship, are keeping an eye on things.
Gilles, 58 years old, cereal grower and milk collection agent (Pays-de-la-Loire)
A hard worker, the fifty-year-old has combined two activities since a romantic breakup disrupted his plans. On the family farm that he bought after the death of his father, he began collecting milk, in addition to his job as a cereal grower. A rearrangement which allows him today to aim for love, even though he has only known sentimental failures. Ballroom dancing enthusiasts will have an advantage with this farmer with a contagious smile.
Jean-Baptiste, 35 years old, cattle breeder and manager of an educational farm (Nouvelle-Aquitaine)
This cattle breeder grew up following the model of his united parents. He therefore wishes to reproduce the same pattern with a man sensitive to the same values and wishing “build a lasting relationship“. Because, after having played the globetrotter for a long time, this animal lover returned to his roots, where he took over the family farm when his father retired. He even developed it by now offering a educational farm and unusual accommodation.
Jean-Louis A., 53 years old, suckler cow breeder (Occitanie)
Two Jean-Louis will come to host this twentieth season, but the Occitan stands out by still living with his mother Lucette at the age of 53. If his professional path was mapped out with heirs all farmers, on the love side, the machine never got started. He has in fact only known one romance, which ended in failure, and hopes to take a wife to the farm.joyful and good-natured“, who will agree to live under the same roof as his dear mother.
Jean-Louis C., 67 years old, mixed farming and suckler cow breeder (Hauts-de-France)
The second Jean-Louis comes from Hauts-de-France and is slowly considering retirement. Moreover, this father of two children prepares it by regularly taking care of himself after having worked tirelessly for 48 years. The sixty-year-old sticks to his routine but hopes to be able to share it with an aspiring woman with the same qualities and expectations as him. Those of a flirt for whom the couple is synonymous with harmony.
Julien, 35 years old, fodder and cereal producer (Nouvelle-Aquitaine)
Another family story for this 35-year-old farmer! But working on the farm is not the only occupation of this musical comedy enthusiast, who does not hesitate to sing songs in an association. If no woman has given him the desire to settle down until today, Julien fully intends to put the brakes on his many activities if one of his suitors lights the fire within him.
Laurent, 58 years old, breeder of sheep and suckler cows (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes)
At the head of a large farm, this father of two children has never recovered from the disappearance of their mother, Françoise. But looking at the story of Mickaël, a widower like him, who proposed to Nadine, Laurent began to dream of taking the same path as his predecessor. He is therefore ready to open his heart again to a woman who will accept his way of life and his very complete vision of love.
Mathieu, 28 years old, sheep breeder (Occitanie)
Benjamin of this anniversary season among men, this shy guy with a big heart has never known true love with an “A”, nor love in general. Samuel, 48 years old, cognac producer and winegrower (Nouvelle-Aquitaine)
He is the first producer of cognac in twenty years of emissions.
