Customers, customers and occasional visitors, who came for the occasion, to the local Fnac started the new year in an excellent and original way. Indeed, the internationally renowned pianist and versatile artist, Lydie Solomon, offered two free concerts that she sang in the heart of the cultural store. The staging was reduced to a microphone installed in the middle of a shelf; However, Lydie’s talent does not require any artifice to be highlighted as it shines from the start of her performance. The exercise she took on this first Saturday in January is completely unusual for her, who most often performs in the most prestigious venues in the world. A classical pianist, she sang here a jazz recital to music composed, for the most part, by Thierry Lier who accompanied her. However, although present and due to the nature of the premises, this accompaniment had been pre-recorded. This show, short in duration, entitled “Let it be said” pleasantly surprised many people who, upon entering Fnac, did not expect it; also, the public fluctuated; some stayed throughout the concert while others, constrained by their obligations of the day, had to limit themselves to listening to two or three musical pieces.

All things considered, however, a significant audience was affected. A great experience and a generous popularization of art offered by Lydie Solomon. She discovered our region in 2010, at the “Le Magnoac” cinema, during the presentation of the film “Vivre” in which she was one of the actresses. On this same occasion, she had already presented a jazz concert with Thierry Lier. Since then, she has shared her life between , the world and Magnoac, her haven of calm and rest dear to her heart.
