With CES 2025 in full swing, we’re seeing more and more announcements about Asus’ new line of ROG peripherals, as well as gaming laptops. The company just revealed the latest ROG gaming laptops Strix – 2025 ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18.

ROG Strix 2025 laptops will feature both AMD and Intel processors, so buyers will be able to opt for either. In this article, we will focus on Strix laptops with AMD processors, as we have already covered models with Intel processors in another article.

To start, there are two models: the ROG Strix G16, which has a 16-inch screen, and the ROG Strix G18, which is equipped with an 18-inch screen. Both models feature an IPS display with a resolution of 2560x1600p and a refresh rate of 240Hz. Like other gaming laptops, this one also comes with G-Sync technology for smoother gaming. Additionally, the laptop will have 500 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut with Pantone validation.

Inside, Strix laptops will be equipped with the following processors AMD Fire Range HX 16CaMD Fire Range HX 16C processors, aimed at high-performance laptops. As for graphics, the laptops will be equipped with NVIDIA’s next GPU lineup, the RTX 5000. For now, all we know is that the highest configuration is the RTX 5070 Ti .

Additionally, buyers can choose to configure the laptop with up to 32GB of DDR5 5600 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD and support for PCIe 5.0 on one slot. Coming to ports, the laptops have two USB 4.0 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 1G LAN jack, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop also offers WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Coming to pricing, the starting price of the new ROG Strix laptops is $1899.99. However, prices will vary depending on the configuration buyers choose.
