This is news that can change the daily lives of many residents of Trégor, in Côtes-d'Armor. The Region is joining forces with communities in the north of the Côtes-d'Armor department to increase TER service. In September 2026, seventeen additional daily circulations are planned. Between Brest and Rennes, Guingamp, Plouaret, Lannion and Saint-Brieuc.
“This is a significant strengthening of the offer,” underlined Carine Hue, vice-president in charge of mobility, during the Lannion Trégor community council meeting on December 17, 2024.
More TER stops
The Lannion and Plouaret stations will benefit from 70 TER stops every day during the week, “i.e. 21% more than in 2024”. Which in turn increases “the potential that we can make from these stops”, that is to say “ take the TGV », continues the elected official from Lannion.
This “real opportunity to increase the accessibility of Trégor”, says President Gervais Egault, necessarily has a cost for the Agglo, to the tune of 3.04% of the investment. Either €195,853.27 per year to participate in the purchase of three TER trains and the operation of services between Lannion and Lamballe.
