Emmy Le Maguera 15-year-old young Trégorroise, died Tuesday December 31at the end of a long fight facing illness. For ten years, the Les Rêves d'Emmy association, created near Lannionhas Caouënnec-Lanvézéac(Côtes-d’Armor) brought together the solidarity of an entire territory.

A rare genetic disease

Multiple disabilities, Emmy suffered from rare genetic diseaseWoree syndrome. At the end of 2015, his parents Gwen and Guillaume created an association in order to raise funds to improve their daughter's daily life, notably through the purchase of suitable equipment.

With Emmy's Dreams, the benefits of various events participated in making the young girl's life easier: for example, on Emmy's hike, in collaboration with the festival committee, or via donations from Plijadur, following the Pardon.

Multiple events

For 10 years, the fight for Emmy's Dreams will also have been of external associations. Sportswomen, in particular, Ploumilliau for the Ankou trail, at Tréguierwith the football club of Pratthe festival committee of Rospezand many others…

Emmy was also a support for other families affected by disability. Through regular donations, or the organization of a stay allowing time for rest. Les Rêves d’Emmy notably helped the Maison de l’Estran in Trévou-Tréguignec.

Emmy's funeral will be celebrated this Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the Tavéac funeral home, in Begard.
