Experienced in car sharing in rural areas since the deployment of its service in the Pays de Fayence in September 2023, Agilauto Partage is tackling new regions. The Crédit Agricole group subsidiary specializing in electric vehicle car sharing is arriving in Meurthe-et-, through the Crédit Agricole de Lorraine regional bank.

Agilauto Partage was selected by the Community of Communes of the territory of Lunéville in Baccarat and the PETR (Territorial and Rural Balance Pole) of the Pays du Lunévillois to operate the white label Lulu service. This has been managed since its launch in 2021 by Clem'.

Start of operations in March

This is a new facet of Agilauto Partage's activity, which will evolve here as a service provider, unlike its service in Pays de Fayence where it is fully in charge. The structure led by Olivier Rossinelli will bring all its expertise, starting with Open Fleet technology to equip vehicles and manage the digital journey of users.

Agilauto Partage will also provide a call center, in this case the same as that used for Drivalia, as well as commercial support and communications to attract new users, such as sports and cultural associations. Added to this will be the management of operations inherent to a car-sharing fleet, such as vehicle maintenance or the management of fines.

The Lulu service has been deactivated until 1is March 2025, time to make the switch. It currently consists of 39 electric vehicles, including 37 Renault Zoe. A fleet which will be completely overhauled before the resumption of activities.

Olivier Rossinelli's desire, once operations are relaunched, is to quickly develop the service and make changes to it. “To date, only half of the villages in the Community of Communes have a Lulu vehicle, which means that 39,000 inhabitants out of 80,000 have access to one. There is reason to offer the service throughout the territory and thus add 40 electric vehicles“, estimates the general director of Agilauto Partage.

Switch to LLD

He also has the idea of changing the mix of vehicles, by integrating light electric utility vehicles, very popular in the Pays de Fayence. Olivier Rossinelli is also campaigning for a change in vehicle financing.

The current fleet has been purchased, which represents a capital asset of around 1.2 million euroshe specifies. It doesn't really make sense for the community to own these vehicles, it would be more judicious to lease and we have the capacity to provide electric vehicles through leasing with Agilauto..”

This shift could partly take place by the end of 2025, knowing that current vehicles are already almost four years old. It will nevertheless be necessary to take into account supply times and the ability to resell the replaced models.

Agilauto will quickly have to prove itself since the contract signed with local authorities is for one year, renewable. “The desire of all parties is obviously to enter into a long-term relationship“, nevertheless confides Olivier Rossinelli.
