Xavier Driencourt sur Europe 1. D. R.
By Karim B. – The noisemaker Xavier Driencourt is making the rounds of the French paid media to pour out his resentment towards Algeria which expelled him diplomatically in 2020. Latest appearance to date, an interview he has just given to the Arab service Tunisian Sonia Mabrouk – a real shame for her country which is honored by the courageous positions of its president Kaïs Saïed. The former French ambassador to Algiers, visibly fervent reader ofAlgeriapatriotic from which he draws his elements of language, has, finally, admitted that the French left of the torturer François Mitterrand supported the extremist religious party of the FIS in the 1990s.
But the voluble diplomat contradicts himself again and again when talking about the Islamists. Indeed, recalling the episode of the taking of American hostages at the United States embassy in Tehran, in the mid-1980s, Xavier Driencourt estimated that Algeria ended up siding with the hostage takers. hostages by taking Boualem Sansal herself hostage. The author of The Algerian enigmawho suggested that his agent’s place of detention be “stormed [par le GIGN] like during the hijacking of the Air France plane in 1994” (sic), forget that at the very moment he was making these remarks on Europe 1 and CNews, his Minister of Foreign Affairs was kowtowing to the terrorist leader Mohamed Al- Joulani in Damascus and that – no doubt he is unaware of it – Algeria withdrew its ambassador so as not to support Daesh.
More seriously, Xavier Driencourt and his Tunisian interlocutor, a useful idiot in the pay of Vincent Bolloré, considered the perpetual homage paid by the Algerians to the martyrs of the War of National Liberation as being a “poison inoculated into the youth”. Supreme blasphemy against the valiant fighters who died for independence which cannot remain without being firmly condemned by the Algerians of France, privileged targets of the extreme right to which these two excited people belong.
Playing on words, the colleague of the indescribable Pascal Praud calls the one who filed a complaint against the three Algerian YouTubers arrested by the police, thus deprived of their freedom of thought and expression, “whistleblower”. Translate “bouchkara», these harkis who, during the bloody colonization, denounced the ALN fighters with their heads covered with a jute bag.
Apart from that, Xavier Driencourt repeated the same antiphon, a broken record which ended up being cracked: memorial blackmail, retaliation by limiting the granting of visas, reinstatement of visas for diplomats who are exempt, etc. Measures that weigh nothing in the face of the fatal blows that Algeria could deal to France if it wanted. Didn’t the embittered diplomat recall that a former Algerian Prime Minister told him that the Algerians knew much more about the French than the French knew about the Algerians? Did he not also recall that 10% of the French population was Algerian or of Algerian origin and fundamentally attached to Algeria? What could be more true than this postulate?
