France services, set up in Chambéry in 2022, is an access to rights service which allows residents to benefit from the help of an advisor to obtain information related to daily administrative procedures and to be supported with their requests, particularly for digital procedures. With the aim of being accessible within 20 minutes of each home, the France services network today has around 2,800 reception points, including 32 in Savoie. At the Hauts-de-Chambéry district town hall, an initial assessment of this service was recently presented. Two years after opening, 3,600 supports were provided.
Attendance increasing
In Chambéry, a France services space in Hauts-de-Chambéry and a branch in Biollay have been set up to support residents since December 2022. Attendance there is increasing. The France Chambéry services received 1,400 inhabitants in 2023, compared to more than 1,800 inhabitants, from January to December 2024. Among this population, there is a majority of seniors, with 51% of users over 55, for only 4 % of users under 25 years old.
Retirement and national titles
Requests relating to retirement rights and various national titles (identity card, passport, registration document) are among the most popular services. The majority of procedures carried out in 2024 concerned retirement (Carsat 33%), followed by secure securities (ANTS 22%) and CAF (19%). This is a specificity linked to location in urban areas: structures in rural areas respond more to issues linked to health insurance or family allowances.
