The artists’ outfits which were made by fashion designers. It’s a creation with a lot of energy… lots of light colors which are really primary colors, which are really zen! »

“We really feel all this sweetness and all this tranquility with the divine,” she declared, specifying that “this is felt physically and in the music”. “Then this Western and Asian mix is quite surprising and it goes very, very well. It’s a great time! »

For Ms. Héroux, Shen Yun contributes to “anchoring traditions and introducing people to a world that we don’t encounter every day. »

“An energy more powerful than us”

Denis Vramulet had hoped to attend the Shen Yun show for three years. This nuclear installations engineer said he was “amazed by the whole spectacle”.

“I really liked the dance, the female and male part, the classical Chinese dances and also the costumes and the variety of the 400 costumes – if I understood correctly – which were presented to us, as well as all the productions. »

Denis Vramulet, a nuclear facilities engineer, felt “optimism” when he discovered Shen Yun on January 2, 2025. (NTDTV photo)

Of Romanian origin and born under the Romanian communist regime, Denis Vramulet confides that he “felt really attached to this show! Knowing that my parents, my grandparents, experienced a bit of persecution from this regime, personally, I felt that the show refers to this feeling of optimism. »

Indeed, Shen Yun presents scenes from present-day communist China, exposing the brutal persecution suffered by practitioners of Falun Dafa, a meditation discipline based on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

“Even China, today, can reorient itself towards the person, towards the human and it can also make it possible to find a balance for everyone in order to evolve other than in a collective, national way,” hopes the engineer.

Denis Vramulet also felt a form of connection with the divine through Shen Yun paintings: “For my part, I feel that there is an energy more powerful than us. So, I think that, yes, I am in symbiosis with this principle of earth-sky connection. »

The show is therefore, for this scientist, a bearer of “optimism”, giving rise to “the strength to believe, that at a given moment, we can return to humans and to the sky too, and have this balance between the evolution of the nation and the evolution of humans. »
