A violent frontal impact took place this Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the exit of the village of Fauillet, in Lot-et-Garonne, on the RD 101 towards Varès. And given the state of the two damaged vehicles, it is almost a miracle that no victims were to be deplored.
In circumstances which remain to be determined, on a wet road, the two cars would have violently hit from the front before each stopping on the side of the road.
Victims extricated from their vehicle
The violence of the shock was such that the 10 firefighters present on site had to extricate the two injured women before being able to transport them to Marmande hospital. For one of the drivers aged 19, the urgency was absolutewithout the vital prognosis being engaged.
The second, aged 43, was evacuated in relative urgency. The two women were injured in the lower limbs and one of them was also seriously injured in the face.
