The 13th and last illuminated House of Moreuil will go out on the evening of Sunday January 5. There are only three evenings left to see her shine again: this Friday January 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday January 5, therefore.
Then, the event proposed by Moreuillois Clément Régnier, 22 years old, in front of the family home, at 14, rue des Champs in Moreuil, will not happen again, at least for several years.
The attraction has been open for this 2024_2025 edition since November 30, with a total of 37 evenings full of sparkling lights and magical decorations.
Two months of installation were necessary for Clément Régnier and his family, and the young agricultural employee had to take two weeks of leave.
Some figures for this new edition: at least 67,000 bulbs (LED); 13 km of cables and garlands; 4,700 visitors; 43 kg of chocolates purchased, 1,200 toys distributed to children.
The six special evenings, marked by the presence of Santa Claus (who came on December 21 in a sleigh), alone attracted 2,400 visitors.
Clément Régnier does not hide: “ I have a special emotion. Time stands still during the Illuminated House, with some great moments. Many people with disabilities came and were amazed, like elderly people. People still traveled 250 km outward and as much back, to come and see the illuminated House. »
