France 2 takes you to Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) to discover the New Year's resolutions of the inhabitants of the Pink City.
At the top of the list of resolutions each year comes sport. “We will try to do a little more in terms of training”declares a Toulouse resident. Another resolution is to treat yourself all year round, for example by treating yourself to a bouquet of flowers.
Another wish of Toulouse residents is to free up their time and enjoy more with their loved ones. “Better balance your personal and professional life”said a man. “I decided to take a little more care of my wife who has difficulty moving. I do a lot of cooking, then I did the shopping”said another.
And then there are those who are realistic. “I don’t want to change anything essential”explains a passerby. In 2024, according to an Ipsos survey, one in two French people say they have respected at least one of their good resolutions.
