Returning to the political instability experienced by the country, she said she hoped for a “happy outcome” which, according to her, would come through a “democratic decision”. “It’s from the people and therefore by a democratic decision that the happy ending will come of a situation that everyone deplores and from which France must get out as quickly as possible,” she said.
She also regretted “that the brilliance of the performances of the Olympic athletes like the light of the resurrection of Notre-Dame de Paris” did not “manage to totally illuminate” a year 2024 that was “so dark”.
The leader of the deputies of the National Rally returned to the legislative elections last summer, denouncing “schemes unworthy of a second round” which led “mechanically the country to parliamentary and governmental paralysis”.
Scratching his opponents in the process which she accuses of leading “to disaster” by absolutely wanting to “stay in power”, Marine Le Pen considered that her party was “the force of change for France and for Europe”.
