Prize-Money. The 2025 world darts champion, whose final will be played this Friday, January 3, 2025 in London between the Dutchman Michael van Gerwen and the young English prodigy Luke Littler (17 years old), will pocket a check for 500,000 pounds sterling (around 605,000 euros). In total, these world championships, which have been held since mid-December at Alexandra Palace, distribute a total prize pool of 2.5 million pounds sterling (more than 3 million euros).
A bonus of 60,000 pounds (72,600 euros) is planned for any player achieving a perfect game in nine darts. An equivalent amount is donated to a spectator present in the room and to the English association against prostate cancer. Sports betting site Paddy Power is title partner of the event. Eliminated in the second round, Frenchman Thibault Tricole won 15,000 pounds (around 18,150 euros).
