These diplomatic victories, the fruit of the far-sighted vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, illustrate once again the leading role that the Kingdom plays in promoting peace and stability in Africa and the Arab world.
The release of the 4 French people detained in Burkina Faso: A diplomacy of trust
Thanks to direct and discreet mediation orchestrated by His Majesty the King, four French nationals detained in Burkina Faso were released, thus consolidating the perception of Morocco as a first-rate diplomatic actor. This successful intervention was welcomed by the international community and in particular by French and European public opinion. It illustrates Morocco’s capacity to play a role in appeasement and conflict resolution in a region plagued by growing tensions.
