Two missing people found deceased

A 90-year-old woman, wanted since Saturday December 28, and a 71-year-old man, missing since December 22, were found lifeless on Monday December 30 in Indre.

Several teams of gendarmes with their dogs have been mobilized in Mézières since December 28 to try to find the missing woman.

Nearly 900 calls received per 24 hours: emergencies under pressure during the holidays

No respite in the Châteauroux emergency room. The service, close to saturation, experiences an increase in activity between the two holidays due to several epidemics. Regulation (Center 15) has received nearly 900 calls daily since December 23.

An apartment in the building sold at auction, visitors cautious

This Monday, December 30, around ten people visited an apartment in the building, in Châteauroux. A home which will be sold on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at auction despite significant renovation costs.
