Benslimane/Military service: the 39th contingent begins a new stage

In Benslimane, the ceremony marking the end of the common basic training of the 39th contingent of conscripts for military service highlighted the rigor and discipline acquired by these young recruits. Ready to begin their professional specialization, they say they are motivated to take on new challenges.

At the end of four months of intensive military training, focused on civic and physical education, the 200 conscripts of the 39th contingent took the oath during a ceremony chaired by Colonel-Major Rachid Akkaoui. The latter praised the discipline and diligence of the young recruits, describing this first phase as a “cornerstone” of their journey.

Focus on specialization
The second phase of training, which will begin soon, will allow conscripts to specialize in various fields such as cooking, sports training, hospitality and even gardening. These training courses, adapted to the abilities and educational level of recruits, aim to provide them with skills that can be directly used on the job market or in the ranks of the Royal Armed Forces.

“This next step will require more effort and commitment from us,” said Khadija Bouakkad, a conscript from the contingent, highlighting the many challenges ahead.

Fatima Zahra Bakhla, another participant, expressed her ambition to join the FAR, adding that the skills acquired during this first phase constituted a solid foundation for the future.

A successful collective mission
Colonel-Major Akkaoui paid tribute to the supervisors, who, under the High Royal Instructions, made sure to transmit their knowledge with dedication and rigor. Lieutenant Zakaria Abou Lghoualim, for his part, recalled the importance of this training to instill discipline and responsibility in those called up. A ceremony full of emotions

In addition to the military parade, the ceremony was punctuated by theatrical and musical performances performed by the conscripts, testifying to their spirit of cohesion and creativity. The award ceremony to the winners of the National Conscript Games closed this event full of symbols.
