Since 1968, the snowflake has been the logo of the Serap company, world leader in milk tanks, based in Gorron (Mayenne). It has just been replaced. This involves having the same visual for all of the group's 6 entities at international level and its more than 500 employees.
explains Eric Boittin, CEO of the group. The new logo of course represents the S of Serap, but above all two hands coming together, showing our spirit of long-term partnership with our customers and our employees.
In France, 85% of employees are shareholders of the company.
30 recruitments planned
And development is accelerating. We have signed an industrial agreement with DeLaval, a Swedish company, leader in milking solutions. So that DeLaval can devote its industrial facilities, particularly in Poland, to milking machines, they subcontract the development and manufacturing of milk tanks to us. The transfer is done in two steps. The first was completed with the recruitment of 30 people at Gorron. The second will be operational at the end of 2025, with the recruitment of 30 employees and the construction of 1,500 m² of additional workshop.
And Eric Boittin added: We are reestablishing industrial activity from Poland in France.
