Defenders Axel Witsel and Thomas Meunier, injured since the start of Euro 2024, took part in Belgium’s collective training on Sunday June 30, on the eve of the round of 16 against France.
Respectively affected in the groin and thigh, the players of Atlético Madrid and Trabzonspor (Turkey) carried out the running exercises without restraint, noted the journalists present at the training complex in Luwdigsburg (southern Germany). Witsel and Meunier should however not be in the starting line-up against Les Bleus on Monday in Düsseldorf (6 p.m.).

The Red Devils will fly to Düsseldorf on Sunday afternoon, where a press conference is scheduled for the end of the day with coach Domenico Tedesco and Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Orel Mangala.
