LE CREUSOT: Judo teachers in training

Professors Johnny Potet and Arthur Repiquet, accompanied by Louis in civic service, took part in a very intense training day in Grenoble under the leadership of Damien Migai, a renowned professor on the theme of Brazilian JiuJitsu or BJJ. Damien is a black belt in judo and BJJ and notably the French Black Belt champion (-70kg) in 2023 at the CFJJB (French Brazilian JiuJitsu Confederation). This theme is one of the development axes at France Judo in partnership with the CFJJB. BJJ is the art of ground combat, it promotes the idea that a person can defend themselves or attack a heavier and stronger opponent using the appropriate techniques, more particularly by bringing the fight to the ground, where weight differences are reduced, to apply techniques of reversal, strangulation, joint lock or muscle compression. Very complete training to perfect NE WAZA, the art of judo on the ground in opposition to TE WAZA, the art of standing judo. Damien will be our training referent to improve the skills of teachers and thus develop JJB in Le Creusot. Judo Creusot becomes a partner of Limiteless.

A course is scheduled for the 2024/2025 season (Tuesday evening 7:45 p.m. / 9:00 p.m.), a course open to teenagers and adults, beginners or not. We look forward to seeing many of you at the start of the school year to discover BJJ.
