D-Day for the 1er tour legislative elections in the Rhône and Lyon. In the department, marked by a wave of National Rally for the Europeans, 14 constituencies are at stake.

All outgoing deputies are candidates with the exception of Hubert Julien-Laferrière, former environmentalist elected official for the 2nd Rhône constituency, who gave up.

The National Rally will try to elect its first deputies in the department, the New Popular Front wants to confirm its urban presence in the metropolis of Lyon and the Renaissance deputies will save their seats, after Gabriel Attal’s visit on Friday. Finally, the two Republican deputies will try to resist the rise of the RN…

8am: Polling stations open everywhere

Polling stations have just opened everywhere in the Rhône department. Most close at 6 p.m., others at 7 p.m. and in Lyon and Villeurbanne at 8 p.m.

The opening hours of the polling stations are also detailed: in Lyon and Villeurbanne, they are open until 8 p.m., in some municipalities until 7 p.m. and in most until 6 p.m.
