The Winnipeg Jets added depth in goal by signing Kaapo Kahkonen and Eric Comrie on Monday.

Kahkonen agreed to a one-year, $1 million deal, while Comrie will earn $825,000 over the next two seasons.

Kahkonen, 27, went 7-24-3 with a 3.64 goals-against average and .898 save percentage in 37 games with the New Jersey Devils and San Jose Sharks last season. He had just one win in six games (1-4-0; 2.51-.923) after being acquired by the Devils in a trade with the Sharks on March 8.

Selected by the Minnesota Wild in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Kahkonen is 49-67-15 with four shutouts, a 3.33 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 139 games with the Devils, Sharks and Wild.

In Comrie’s case, he is making a return to the Jets, having been drafted by the Manitoba team in the second round (59th) in the 2013 draft.

Last season, the 28-year-old goaltender played 10 games with the Buffalo Sabres, going 2-7-0 with a 3.69 GAA and .874 save percentage.

Winnipeg also signed defenseman Colin Miller to a two-year, $3 million contract Monday.

Miller, 31, had nine points (four goals, five assists) in 46 regular-season games with the Jets and Devils last season, including one assist in five games after being acquired by Winnipeg in a trade with the Devils on March 8.

Miller also added an assist in his only playoff game.

Selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round (151st overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Miller has 166 points (39 goals, 127 assists) in 512 regular-season games with the Jets, Devils, Dallas Stars, Sabres, Vegas Golden Knights and Boston Bruins, and 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 41 playoff games.
