Under the pretext of offering them “holidays”, the Polisario sells Sahrawi children in Europe

As every year, during the summer season, the Polisario has just launched the largest operation of expatriation of children from the Tindouf camps, in the South-West of Algeria, to several European countries under the cover of a pseudo-program, “Holidays in peace».

In a press release denouncing this situation, Forsatin explains that this operation is a pretext for illegal emigration and the sale of hundreds of Sahrawi children to associations and families from different European countries, wishing to adopt them, relays Assabah from this Tuesday, July 2.

This process consists of several stages, which have different names: “entertainment activities», «visits», «voyages“, or even “therapeutic campaigns»…

These activities are actually aimed at carrying out real brainwashing, inflicted on minors in the Tindouf camps, who find themselves uprooted, deprived of their parental references, and forced to renounce the Muslim faith in which they were born.

According to Forsatin, upon their arrival in different European countries, the children find themselves distributed to the homes of foreign families, who were waiting to adopt a Sahrawi child.

This complex operation, supervised by armed Polisario militias, requires the intervention of several parties according to the NGO.

In this regard, Forsatin indicates that the designation of children to be sent to a European country is not the result of any chance, because the Polisario separatists involved in this operation select children who belong to tribal minorities, or children who have lost their parents.

This is a way for them to avoid protests when these children do not return to the camp at the end of the summer, after having been abandoned in foreign families.

In addition to what appears, in all likelihood, to be human trafficking, especially of minors, the leaders of the separatist movement are engaged in another operation, which is just as lucrative: making individuals emigrate, by passing them off as “Polisario Front executives” or by pretending that it is “of companions“, for financial compensation.

In addition to being paid, these operations appear to pose no risk to the separatists, explains the NGO, thanks to the “facilities granted by European host countries, as well as by the Algerian regime which mobilizes its institutions and its civil servants“, relays Assabahfor the expatriation of Sahrawi minors from the Tindouf camps, so that they are literally sold abroad.

The Forsatin accompanied this press release, the daily newspaper emphasizes, with photographs showing a first group of Sahrawi children, who arrived in France in the summer of 2024.

The images released by the NGO show Sahrawi minors attending a religious service in a church, listening to a priest preach, learning religious rituals foreign to their culture, and even… finding themselves baptized according to the rites of Christian Catholicism, in flagrant violation of the Muslim religious teaching that had been transmitted to them in their place of birth by their referents or their parents, and above all in violation of their fundamental rights as children.
