Traffic around the station will change: from July 10, 2024, the Foch Bridge and part of Boulevard Joffre and Rue Mazagran will be closed to traffic. And this will continue until at least December 2024.

Five months of work are planned to provide the trolley platform, the car lane, the cycle path and the sidewalk on this bridge. To prepare for this, part of the road markings are planned in the streets Foch, Saint-Léon starting on 1is July. Rue Poincaré will also be affected from July 8. The bridge will be closed during the night from Tuesday 9 to Wednesday 10 between midnight and 4 a.m. and the new traffic plan will be effective from Wednesday morning.

Access to the center

Motorists accustomed to their route around the station will once again have to face the change after the work on Place de la République. To compensate for the closure of the Foch Bridge, Rue Raymond-Poincaré will be made two-way and diversions are planned to allow cars access to the station and its surrounding car parks as well as to the city centre.

If line A will not be impacted, the Tempo lines (T2, T3 and T4) will be, as well as the Brabois Express, the Corol and buses 10 and 11. But don’t worry, Kéolis Grand Nancy is planning new plans for the overall network and adapted lines to help you find your way around.

Pedestrian access is maintained throughout the area under construction. Cyclists and scooters will have to dismount.
